Whereas it is typically an all or nothing proposition with other conventional coverage, this plan can be purchased after paying for the trip with no time cap (subject to a 72 hour waiting period for sickness NOT accident). Other plans have a tight 2 to 7- day purchase window failing which the plan could be invalidated. Likewise, this plan does not get voided (unlike its counterparts from other traditional plans) if purchased after any cancellation penalties have commenced. Additionally, there is no medical questionnaire thus eliminating the risk for errors and potential voiding of the plan. Typically, plans "bundled" with Emergency medical coverage are more likely to be cancelled due to an error on the medical questionnaire. Another highlight of this Trip Cancellation/Interruption plan is its low 60 day stability requirement.
